E221 FOOD GRADE

PHYSICAL COMPOSITION: POWDER

Sodium benzoate; It is the sodium salt of benzonic acid. Sodium benzoate (E 211) is used to prevent the growth of microorganisms in acidic foods.

Soda; It is used as an antimicrobial agent in pharmaceuticals as well as in foods such as fruit juices and pickles.

It is commonly used in ketchup and ketchup-like sauces, margarine, olives, marmalade and processed fish.

When used with Potassium Sorbate, it prevents the growth of mold and yeast.

Usage Dosage: 1 Gr/1 Kg Finished Product

Note: The pH of the final product must be below 5. Sodium Benzoate (E211) loses its activity at pH 5 and above.
