Guar Gum is obtained from the seeds of the guar plant "Cyamopsis Tetragonalobus".
Guar gum, which hydrates when dispersed in water, rapidly increases the viscosity of the product it is added to, reaching approximately half of the final viscosity value within 10-15 minutes after heating. Guar Gum is used as a thickener, stabilizer, bulking agent and emulsifier in the pharmaceutical and food industries. It is obtained from natural sources.
Apart from the food industry, it is also used in the following sectors;
Personal care products, cat and dog foods, pharmaceutical industry, household cleaning products, paint and building materials, textile and carpet industry, mining, oil, gas industry and drilling industry, paper, explosives, casting and ceramic industry, industrial cleaners, agricultural products.
